Keeping a radio show fresh and exciting for a long period of time is quite a challenging task, and requires quite much thought and effort. Lately we have been putting our heads together trying to solve this issue with our show on NuBreaks. All kinds of breakbeats, be that drum & bass, breakbeat or dubstep are our passion, but we understand that this is not the case for everyone. Thus we have decided to divide the show into separate drum & bass and dubstep slots. With this change we also decided that we would also separate the responsibilities for filling these slots between me (elysion) and M-za. This way we have more time to prepare the shows and make them even more entertaining for all you. So from now on, the first show of the month will be focused on dubstep and the second on dnb. These are though just basic guidelines for the shows, not absolute restrictions or anything. We will still continue to break the genre boundaries with interesting tracks that fit the mood, keeping the sets more interesting. If you think that this is an especially good/bad decision, or have something else on your mind, share your thoughts, by leaving a comment to this blog, sending us email to cont...@concussioncrew.info, tweeting to us @ concussioncrew or dropping comments to our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/pages/Concussion/100650006650096?ref=ts.
So as mentioned, next Monday (May 24th) it’s going to be all about the drums and the bass. Went through my record bag and noticed that there were loads of brilliant tracks that, for some reason, haven’t made to the streams earlier on the shows. Also found a few nice tracks from the blogs that were smashin! Really looking forward to this one! Hope to see you locking on to NuBreaks on 5PM GMT!
